Getting the right measurements for your windows has never been easier. Window Blinds

Before we begin, please consider the following

  • A metal measuring tape is advised for the most accurate readings
  • Will the blind fit inside/outside the recess?
  • Note any obstructions that could cause issues with installation

Recess: Measure the width and drop in 3 places. Wall-to-wall and top to sill using your measuring tape. Be sure to write these measurements to the exact detail.

For Exact: You need to measure the width and drop in 3 places and give an additional 3 inches around the edge of the recess.

Bay Windows measuring guides

First: Measure each section of the bay window to find the width of each part

Then: You need to measure from top to bottom each part of the bay window

Finally: Keep in mind any handles or excess parts which can lead to obstruction of a blind to work smoothly Angled

First: Choose the location where you wish for your Awning to be positioned. e.g patio

Then: Measure for the width of the Awning, and how far you would like it to project outwards, also known as the projection
